Searching the Flickr Deep Styles from the Address Bar in Chrome

Do you want to search the Flickr deepstyles from your address bar?

If you’re on a desktop, and are running Chrome, you’re in luck.

In Chrome’s settings page, click on “Manage Search Engines” in the Chrome settings page (pictured in the first image). You’ll find it under the Search Engine heading. Create a new custom search engine. Fill out the details of the search engine as follows:

Name: Deepstyles

Keyword: deepstyle

URL with %s in place of query:
https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=deepstyle%20%s

Now you can just type “deepstyle red” into your address bar to search the deepstyles for anything tagged with red (or any other word). You could even use a shorter keyword if you want, like “ds”, which would let you search with “ds cat” (for example).
